More fun walking around Paris

While very touristy, the area of Montmartre was fascinating with its vibrant street life, including sidewalk cafés, street artists, and spectacular buskers.

Tristan contemplated bringing back a bass guitar found in one of the numerous music shops of Pigalle.

But it was decided that he was still too young to get acquainted with the other cultural activities that the area has to offer later in the evenings...

At the beginning of their trip, Joy and Tristan were able to meet some of their friends from school in the Jardins du Luxembourg, which has a wonderful playground. A very good way to get in the vacation mood!

Having fun on the zip line.

During the summer, a section of Les Tuileries is home to a very nice fair, which is certainly more appealing to the kids than all the museums they were forced to visit.

Joy and Tristan on the log ride

Bumper cars are always a lot of fun!

And then walking on water inside inflated vinyl balloons. How cool is that!

Tristan pondering what he will do with his life in front of a statue of Julius Caesar.

All this walking around can certainly build an appetite.

A café in the Latin Quarter

Arguably the best ice cream in Paris near Notre-Dame

The presentation at this stand was certainly impressive.

A nice dinner in Montmartre with the entire group.

Meeting Robert, a university friend of Vicki's along with his girlfriend Carina.
